The Clemente and artist Yara Travieso present a virtual workshop tailored to immigrant Spanish-speaking artists, who have historically been underserved but it is open to all seeking support for their creative endeavors through grants and residency applications. Yara highlights the vital role of immigrant artists in our community, serving as its backbone and fostering purpose and connection in a world that often feels disconnected. Hence, it is imperative to carve out spaces that cater to these communities, providing them with opportunities to nurture their projects and artistic pursuits.

With this in mind, we warmly invite all interested artists to participate in an interactive writing workshop and learning session led by Yara. This session will delve into the nuances of grant and residency applications, offering participants guidance on how to effectively articulate their artistic vision and practice in an authentic and interconnected manner. The workshops will be conducted in both English and Spanish, with a primary emphasis on serving Spanish speakers.
