Session 2: Roadmap

Host Site: The Clemente

Date: February 16, 2023 | Time:  6-8 pm ET

Now that you have considered how to start a capital project and figuring out what you need, it’s time to assemble your dream team. In this session, co-hosted by The Clemente, discussions will cover who needs to be on your team and how to consider the right teammates in this work, building out a reasonable and realistic timeline for your capital project, and setting milestones for this project. Participants  will also learn about city-owned buildings for nonprofits and the process it takes to acquire a city-owned building, and then what to expect once you have a city-owned building. Attendees will hear from owner’s reps, an attorney, architects, and The Clemente on their experiences. This session will be moderated by Museum Hue and AIA. This session’s resources and recording will be made available one week following the live session.

This series is made possible due to generous funding by the Ford Foundation.

The session will be recorded and made available online.
