Celebrate Car Free Earth Day with The Clemente and Resident Artists CAZORLA + SALEME!

Leave your car at home and join The Clemente artists CAZORLA + SALEME for "Vamos a Conocernos," a free workshop where participants of all ages can showcase their respect for the earth on hand-made, custom-stenciled tote bags. Paint, stencils, cotton totes, fabric markers, and rhinestones will be provided to spark creativity and endless design possibilities. 

Working together since 2010, Cazorla and Saleme are a queer, Latinx aunt and niece duo who create artworks that investigate critical social issues with a focus on migration. Learn more about these local artists through a hands-on activity, and join The Clemente in our commitment to advocating for public spaces and a clean and sustainable Lower East Side!
