Lanzo / Luna: Connections at Teatro Latea is organized within the annual eMeLe-K celebration, this year being the 5th edition! eMeLe-K is an annual week-long cultural celebration of Dr. MLK Jr.’s legacy, the US Civil Rights Movement, and the lasting contributions of Afro-Latinos as co-curated by Teatro LATEA. The art exhibition will include works by the artists Rafaela Luna and Juanita Lanzo.
This year's participants in the weeklong celebration include: Juanita Lanzo, Rafaela Luna, Tatiana Ronderos, Arlene Rodriguez, Everton Isidor and Carole Alexis.
