River To River

Join us for the 20th edition of River To River, Downtown New York City’s completely free summer arts festival, June 10-27, 2021, presented by LMCC and Recently Featured in the NYTIMES.

From its origins in the aftermath of 9/11 to the present context of the pandemic, River To River has long highlighted the fundamental role that creativity in all its forms plays in processes of recovery, resilience and renewal. Curated by Lili Chopra and Nanette Nelms, the wide-ranging program speaks to our current moment, offering new ways of seeing and connecting. In addition to the broad range of in-person events, digital films in the Festival’s program will be streamed on LMCC’s website.This year, the free festival will comprise indoor events at the Arts Center at Governors Island and the Flamboyán Theater at the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural & Educational Center; on-demand digital offerings; and outdoor performances at Teardrop Park, Rockefeller Park and other locations downtown.
