Photo Walk around the Clemente
with Stacy Mehrfar
Join current Clemente studio resident Stacy Mehrfar on a photo walk around Suffolk Street. Together, we will refine our visual language skills and discuss some basics of camera technique, perspective, how to anticipate when to click the shutter, and the legality of photographing in public arenas.

Artists Against Apartheid
The collective Artists Against Apartheid will showcase and distribute a selection of art, posters and visual materials for free.

Wishing Tree for Peace
with Laura Nova
Artist Laura Nova will guide a wishing tree for peace activity. Participants are invited to write their TLC wishes and attach it to the “State Street” Miyabe maple tree in front of the Clemente. Materials provided.

Public Spaces Open Studios 2024
A program developed by Flavia Souza
The Clemente Public Space Open Studios: Portals features 10 artists who interrogate and mend ancestral connectedness through mixed-media fiber, new media and ecological interventions across diasporic intergenerational temporalities.
Selected artists are: Sabrina Barrios, Nube Cruz, Lucia Cozzi, Julia Justo, Miguel Martinez, Michael Pribich, Denisse Griselda Reyes, Xavier Robles, Gabrielle Vazquez, and Elizabeth Velazquez. Curated and juried by Tracy Fenix.
