MISSION

We are dedicated to the appreciation and the preservation of American tap dance and traditional West African music, dance and culture. Our mission is to inform, educate and entertain through the universal language of rhythm, promoting the ideal of friendship, tolerance and cultural understanding among people of all nations.

About Feraba - ART

This award-winning New York City based touring company is a multicultural and multiethnic performance group fusing the traditional sounds and movements of West Africa with the only true American percussive dance form of Tap.

Our latest project, Sound Bridges and Percussive Dance, is a collaboration between Feraba-A.R.T. and Flamenco y Sol Dance Company. Combining percussive feet and a diverse range of musical styles, this collaboration is committed to honoring traditional art forms while highlighting the creative process and the power of cross-cultural communication. In times of division, we strive to do our part to promote hope, happiness, and inspiration by sharing our unique vision of unity with people of all ages and backgrounds.
