MISSION
SEA’s mission is to offer a voice to young people through theater and the arts, facilitate learning, provide training, motivate and challenge young people to stay in school. SEA’s programs and performances offer wholesome and educational value; strengthen cultural identity and boost self-esteem for all ages and backgrounds.
OBJECTIVES
Our objectives are the following:
• To advocate for education through artistic/cultural expression, as well as the teaching of the arts in general.
• To promote Arts-In-Education as a means and catalyst to facilitate teaching, learning and social awareness in the community as well as in the educational system. • To develop and promote the talent and artistic work of young people and new artists. • To offer a real alternative form of wholesome entertainment, which enhances cultural, educational, moral and social understanding for the general public and especially for children and young adults.
• To enhance the positive values and principles of the Hispanic community with the objective of improving overall quality of life.
• To support the educational advancement of Latino/Bilingual children and young adults through the arts.
• To develop and promote cultural/artistic exchange and understanding between communities, groups and/or artistic organizations.
• To offer an array of programming that exemplifies, exposes and provides a link to Latino Culture for family audiences.
