Nitza Tufiño.

Nitza Tufiño was born in Mexico City, where she studied art at the Academia San Carlos in Mexico City. During her college years in Mexico she was privileged to meet David Alfaro Siquieros, who was instrumental in inspiring her to understand and love the world of murals. It is because of Siquieros, that she chose to become known first as a muralist and a public artist.
