An event hosted by NYC Speaks, the Civic Engagement Commission, The People’s Bus, The Clemente and more to celebrate arts, culture and civic engagement. The event will begin with community conversations (as a part of the NYC Speaks initiative) facilitated by leaders in the arts community and civic engagement spaces. After community conversations, we will host a presser featuring key civic leaders and then end with performances from a local band, poets (to celebrate National Poem in Your Pocket Day), and civic engagement activations. There will also be NeON photographers documenting the event.
